Thank you for reminding me

€1,400.00

Thank you for reminding me is part of the We are never broken collection.

“For the largest part of my life I was convinced I was broken beyond repair. I wasn’t being dramatic: my behavior was self-destructive, in my relationships I was afraid to be myself, I was exhausted, working was a struggle, and my family history is filled with chaos.

Nothing seemed to help. I had good moments, but below the surface I was miserable and nothing could provide me with any prospect of improvement. I had to just accept being broken.

At my lowest point, I met a new therapist. A good one.

It was a long, painful and slow process, but that person gave me something I had never had: hope. I found out that I had been wrong all along. I am not broken. I never was.” (Nathalie Duflos)

Like most of Nathalie’s pieces, this one shows the profound evolution from despair to empowerment. Through her art, Nathalie aspires to be a beacon of hope for those facing their darkest moments. Because sh’s been there, and there is a way out.

Thank you for reminding me (80 × 110 cm) is painted on a collection of separate wooden coasters, glued to a white wooden panel. The piece comes in a minimalist black frame. A hanging system is provided.
